You’ll find better earrings in a cracker,
I bought these earrings because they looked so nice on the picture. I wouldn’t normally trust cheap jewellery but they had been heavily reduced so I assumed their quality would be reflective of their original price. Bad mistake.
As soon as the earrings arrived I knew I’d be sending them back. First off, the picture makes them look substantial, as in the silver looks relatively thick or at least they seem somewhat robust. The picture is more than just misleading – I’d go as far as to say it’s a lie completely. I am a photographer and I couldn’t in a million years make these earrings look like they do in the picture. In reality they are small and brittle.
In addition to this, the silver isn’t even shiny. When they arrived all the shininess had worn off and in places they were actually completely discoloured and looked more bronze and somewhat eroded. One earring was closer to the colour of a 2p coin from 1998 than it was to silver.
In short, buying these earrings was a horrible decision and I ended up getting some good quality ones from a respectable retailer two weeks late for my girlfriend’s birthday. This was definately a safer option than presenting her with these.
On the plus side, delivery was quick (they were only a day later than I was expecting them, which is good in comparison to the rest of my customer experience), also, Amazon’s returns procedure was very efficient and I got a full refund.
I do think it is only fair to make clear that I did not contact the seller, so it could be that I simply received a faulty pair of earrings, but I simply was not willing to give them a second chance because anyone could see that the earrings were completely unacceptable, so I can’t understand how they were sold to me in the first place.

These are fine, as simple studs to wear on a daily basis. They’re no more than that though. The diamonds are too small to see really. On the plus side, I didn’t have any of the problems I read in the other review, they arrived shiny and are fairly sturdy. For the reduced price, they’re worth it, but I wouldn’t pay even close to the original price.
